STEP UP Nemaha County – A Day of Community Giving

This special day of community giving is designed to help area nonprofits raise vital funds for their organizations.
Big news, Nemaha County — the match pool is back!
This year we have $55,000 available (until funds are exhausted) in matching funds and a record 50+ charitable funds to choose from. That means your gift goes even further on August 28. Whether you give $10 or $1,000, every dollar you donate on Match Day is an investment right here at home in Nemaha County. Browse all 50+ funds and plan your gift.
- To qualify for the match, the organization/agency must have a fund through the Nemaha County STEP Foundation. New Funds must have been established by June 1, 2026.
- Donations may be made in person at the Seneca Free Library (606 Main Street) or online at www.stepupnemaha.com to be able to participate in the match, and donations must be made on August 28, 2026.
- If donating IRA distributions, gifts of grain, etc. please mail by August 7 to ensure the checks arrive BEFORE Match Day.
- A separate form will be used to indicate which nonprofit(s) will benefit. Donations may be made to one or several organizations. Please make checks payable to: STEP Foundation.
- Donations are tax-deductible and can be made to multiple organizations/agencies. Donor information will be shared only with the pertinent nonprofit organization.
- Money raised will not fund gun raffles, political organizations, fireworks, or carnivals.
- There is no minimum donation or limit that a donor may contribute to a fund. Donations large and small make a huge impact. Thank you for making Nemaha County a great place to live, work, and give!
