Jim and Patricia (Tricia) Koch donated to create a Nemaha County Catastrophic Medical Fund. They saw an opportunity to assist people in local communities who have a financial burden due to medical and/or catastrophic medical expenses.

The Nemaha County Catastrophic Medical Fund was set up by Jim and Patricia Koch for the express purpose of providing financial assistance to those individuals and families who are in need due to extensive and/or catastrophic medical expenses.  Examples of catastrophic illnesses, include but not limited to: cancer, heart attack/congestive heart failure, stroke, coma, trauma with residual paralysis, or renal disease.
