Specific Need

• Playground Fund - Due to safety and new regulations, an update is needed to our current playground. Our current equipment has broken pieces and replacement parts can no longer be ordered. Current regulations on fall heights and equipment spacing make the current space very small for equipment replacement. Safety concerns exist when children play on the street with loose gravel and run back and forth during the Afterschool Program and sporting events held at the school. Our plans include moving the playground to the North side of the gymnasium to allow more space to install updated, inclusive play equipment for all children in our community. A basketball court and shelter house are also in the plans along with a fence around the perimeter to contain children and control balls from escaping into the street. Ground covering will consist of Poured-In-Place Safety Surfacing and Synthetic Turf if enough funding can be secured. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Profile

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, $50,000 started the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School (SPPS) Fund. This fund, available beginning in the July 2022 grant cycle, will assist in funding field trips, classroom supplies and/or materials such as microscopes, laptops, etc. Staff at SPPS are encouraged to apply.
