Centralia Project Fund

Specific Need

For the 2026 Match Day, our goal is to help enhance the appearance of our community and create a warm, welcoming first impression for everyone entering Centralia. One of our main projects will be updating the welcome signs at the entrances to our community, along with adding a new sign at the Community Building.

These improvements will help showcase the pride we have in Centralia and create a more inviting atmosphere for both residents and visitors.

Profile

The Nemaha County STEP Foundation (STEP) announced the establishment of the new Centralia Community Project Fund. It is an extension of the Centralia Community Fund and will focus on fundraising for specific community projects.  

Currently the members serving on the committee for the Centralia Community Project Fund include: Brent Alverson, Kelsey Burdiek, Tyler Glatczak, Lanette Hiltibrand, and Dustin Walters.
